Hi gents,
Hope everyone is well.
I am writing here because I am facing a very strange issue with my video tracks through USB, and I need someone with experience to shed some light on this matter. I will try not to make this lengthy but brace yourself for this one.
What I have:
1. 2 separate USBs (for testing). Lexar 64GB and SanDisk 128GB
2. More than 500 video tracks (504 to be precise and mp4 format)
3. All video files are in the root folder of the USB (mp4 files)
What is happening:
- Only 500 tracks can be seen when the USB loads, with "Random/Shuffle" button enabled.
- Both USBs are behaving with the same results whether they're FAT32 or NTFS.
- Selecting "More Media - Video" shows the entire Video directory (which is the root folder) and shows the full list of videos (504 tracks) but it will disable the "Random/Shuffle" button.
- Search function is not available in either mode and I cannot look for artists/tracks..etc
- Using folders through "More Media" behaves the same way.
It seems that it's either I have to accept the 500 track limit so I could use the Shuffle option or if I want everything then my track list would play in sequence and not shuffled which is pretty annoying
Can someone help?
Thanks in advance
P.S: Pictures Below
USB Sticks that I have:
What I see when the USB loads. 500 videos only with Shuffle option visible.
Selecting "More Media - Video" shows the entire list of 504 tracks, but Shuffle option disappears.
Search function in either case is not working
