Once in awhile, they'll throw new tech into retros. I have a pair of Jordan's where they decided to do a Zoom midsole throughout and it definitely doesn't feel like the usual. I have another AF1 that has different soles and made out of linen. Those are comfy.
Comfort wise, Nike doesn't have anything close to Boost. Nike's Zoom Alphafly Next%2 (I don't chose the names) are ridiculously high tech. They really do bring the energy back up through each step and the shoes do seem to assist in propelling you forward but it's such a strange feel - if you look at the soles you'll see what I mean. These are the sneakers banned from marathons and Olympics lol. It really is "cheating".
