I personally believe manufacturer extended warranties are nothing more more than a giant cash grab and simply line the pockets of the manufacturer. If you had a major mechanical issue with mileage this low I can almost guarantee you BMW would offset a significant portion of the repair cost. I know this from personal experience. Granted, it helps if your a loyal known customer.
