Now if you changed the ratio (OEM is 1.0099:1) then you could argue premature wear to the vehicle.
For reference the 255/40 and 295/35 is 1.0033:1. I wouldn't do 265/40 front as that makes the front tire larger in diameter than the rear tire, which is the opposite of the stock sizes.

So you're saying keep front tire size stock but going 295/35 in rear would be ok?
