Yes, I think highly of Mobil 1 but there are so many good choices that ARE LL-01 approved that I just prefer to put the approved stuff in my car. Also, Mobil 1 should get on board. All of these other companies do the work to get approved by BMW and the are not some small boutique oil brand. I still use Pennzoil Euro Platinum because it is Shell Oil just like BMW oil made from natural gas where other oils use different bases.
