Struts are considered wear and tear items and won't be covered.
I purchased my vehicle CPO (and out of state) and suspected my struts were blown after a few weeks of driving the car around town (very floaty and FR to RR movement seemed unmatched).
I talked to 3 local dealers who all told me CPO will not cover struts, but were all more than happy to quote me ~2k to replace all four corners... LOL.
If you're up for some DIY (or have a good independent mechanic), Bilstein has OEM style replacement struts (B4). ~$300 gets you all four corners.
