After that, it's fine, and after a few minutes, car is warmed up enough and it's silent on shifts again. Obviously, I'll be having it checked it under warranty, but it will be a few days before I can get it in. Any thoughts on what this might be?
Could it actually be a belt squeak, considering the conditions or did it sound like it was coming from the transmission? Can't say I've heard anything similar.
Really sounded like a belt squeak. It's so brief on the shift that I can't nail it down to a location but it sounds like it's coming from the engine bay on drivers side. Then, by the time I get a chance to try and reproduce it, car is warm enough and squeak is gone. I'm sure when I have the dealership take a look, it won't be reproducible. Haha.
