Automatic one is ZF tranny - it's IMHO faster than you can shift manually on 6MT (without burning clutch that is), but 6MT would be more fun to drive (and can handle more torque if you plan heavy modding). These are completely different beasts. Reliability wise ZF is descent tranny - but as all automatics require maintenance. In the long run 6MT is more reliable and easier to resell, but when in heavy traffic in daily driving - auto tranny wins
