Warning Light - Intermittent - Ideas?
Bit of question on this one. Tried Googling, but can't seem to get a definitive answer.
Started the car yesterday, and immediately had a warning light come on. It was the car on ramp, which the check control showed the exclamation mark in the circle - both in yellow.
Got home, let the car stand. Started it, it didn't come on.
However, driving this morning - after about 10 minutes, 'beep' - it's back. Driving home, initially ok again, but once again, within 5-10 mins, it was there.
Checked brake lights, all good.
I'm guessing it could be brake pads/sensors? It was MOT'd a month ago, and nothing was flagged up then - and I've only covered under 500 miles since.
I can't understand why it's not coming on (bar the first time) as soon as I start up the car. It's a late (facelifted) 2007 330i.
Must add that the on board computer shows that no service items are due for a long while yet. Thousands of miles, and at least 12 months.
Any ideas on this?
