I love the way this new Q60 looks but what scares me more than the crappy digital steering model they decided to use, is the outdated 7 speed auto transmission. This is the same trans in my '13 X sedan and I simply loath this thing compared to the 6AT in my e92 and even more so compared to the 8AT in all of the N55 models I've tested. I had the 6MT in my 1st G35 and swore I would never buy another manual with my commute. So the fact that this new car has digital steering AND this outdated transmission makes it a truly undesirable car for me. Hopefully, this model will get enough complaints and they will adopt the 8AT ZF or maybe even better, throw a DCT in the 400HP Red versions.

Steer by wire is an option. Too bad their is no manual option. I loved the manual on my prior G37, vibrations and all.
