Probably the worst excuse. If you can afford the real thing, great. If you're working in the garden or washing your car and don't want to wear your $50K Rolex, then don't wear a damn watch at all or just put on a Seiko or something. What is the point of wearing a fake copy of your expensive watch when doing an activity where your nice watch might get messed up? My "beater" watch is a Suunto. A real one
