FRS is a great car....
Take a little bit of that back...

Haven't seen much out of Toyota since the days of the Supra, Celicas, and MR2's, since then, Toyota has largely catered to the masses via fuel efficient, and practical commuter cars, trucks, and high value full featured cars such as the Avalon. (Honda is similar).

The FRS ushered in the return of the Japanese compact sports car - RWD, peppy engine, 50/50 weight distribution, love the idea and soul, but it's execution IMO is mixed. The engine is woefully underpowered and the interior feel, fit and finish clearly remind you of the class of car you're in.

Overall - I am looking forward to the collaboration and hope new, innovative technologies will result and advance automotive engineering that result in meaningful improvements, without stripping either Companies heritage and brand.
