Jet black really likes ultrafina IME. I've tried to use 85rd but its touchy as 85rd is really a nano clear polish and jet black is not that hard.

You can use Megs 300 for a compound its less agressive than 105 but not by too much and JB like it. You can follow that up with MEG 205 and then Ultrafina.

It all really depends on how much correction you need to do, do you you have any photos?

JB is soft enough that if you wipe too hard with a MF you can put fine marring into the paint....... JB is a part time job to keep looking good
