So it was a 2 Stage correction that was carried out. They first used Uppercut compound to sort out the bigger defects, eliminate all the swirls and cut away the factory haze. Then used rupees yellow pad with Half Cut compound to cool up the gloss and reflectivity. It was then finished with Suave Nanocoating.

This description was mostly taken off their Instagram post, the car went in on Sunday and was finished yesterday, company is called Absolute Valeting, they do all the products used and ship internationally

I’ve no connection other than being a customer on a work colleague recommendation to the company btw, suffice to say it is a stunning job that they’ve done

Looks amazing! What did they use for the protection, was it the Suave Nanocoating? Is that a wax or ceramic?

As my G21 gets closer to 3 years I'm increasingly thinking about a pro detail.

Yeah it’s a ceramic coating:

There was a brand new 24 plate Bentley getting finished off as I arrived to pick my car up, £250k worth, what a state that had come in from the dealers! Was stunning tho when it was done

This shop sounds legitimate. Good well known products being used. The coating has a 5 year life expectancy, nice! Make sure to keep up with maintenance

Absolutevaleting are a great company, used them on my old f31 and the ceramic coating was still on it over 3years later. Since then I’ve also had my g21 m340d done by them… basically they will spend a full day detailing the car (usually 2people) then apply the ceramic coating and let it cure overnight.

There detailing products are all I use now.

OP - just wait until you wash the car, you will enjoy how the dirt just runs off the paint and the car is gleaming with very little effort 😎

Here’s mine:

Martyn86 Stevie was a delight to deal with, he gave great advice and he just put me at ease with it all.

Gonna give my G21 a treat there as well

He gave me some of their snow foam and shampoo products away with me, I was honestly gobsmacked at the difference this level of detail makes to a car. I could swear it’s a different colour

It also took 0.2secs off the 0-62 time

Gave the G21 a good going over today with an upcoming trip with the dogs on the horizon, boy, she came up a treat, spent @ 2hrs fettling, waxing the glass (Mrs thought I was going to wax the windscreen ), cleaned the all weather mats, got rid of the rubbish, hoovered, snowfoamed, shampooed, tyre dressing etc, etc.

So with the pressure washer out and the M440 looking a bit dusty, I gave it a quick blast, wow! No foam, no shampoo, just a blast from the pressure washer, came up like a new pin, the hydrophobic qualities of the Suave Nanotech jungle juice really came into its own, hope it’s this easy ongoing.......

I average 20k miles a year and wash my car every other weekend to keep it looking good. Simply snow foam it, the shampoo…. only recently I have started using the absolute ceramic rinse (wow) what a product and it last ages defo get that.

I’m pretty sure this was a product that was included in the couple of freebies Stevie gave me. I’ve got a couple of 5L Ultimate snow foam product to use up but I’m keen to use their product first

Just make sure to keep up with maintenance on the coating by using sealants or “toppers” during your washes. This ensures the coating lasts the advertised life cycle, as well as performing a decontamination wash every so often.

Afraid not buddy, just back from a wee holiday in Arran with our dogs so we’ve been mostly out and about in our G21, I’d have given you a wave
