Weird smell in cabin

I've searched and can't really find the answer so...

My car recently, just after starting up, seems to smell of cat wee or very similar. I can't quite work out if it is coming from the air vents, but would seem to be the obvious choice.
Is it as simple as changing out the air filter or are there other places that this horrible stench could be coming from?

BTW, no cat has been in my car!!!

Could just be the cabin filter needs changing and one of the AC bombs to sanitise the system

Had exactly the same problem, a quick cabin filter change cured it instantly.

I have this issue at the moment too, thanks for posting the remedy as i have been thinking all sorts of reasons why the smell might be there.

Best place I found was Autodoc, if you put your reg in it will give you all the options. And there were quite a few!
