I saw this piece of trim on another G20 thread.

I like the way it blends the radio/function button panel surround with the satin silver trim edging around the dashboard and centre console.

It's satin finished stainless steel, and cost the princely sum of £12.21 inc. delivery.

I've seen loads of stuff on Ali Express but thought the prices were too good to be true and didn't want to risk using my credit card.
Judging from your experience it's obviously not a problem, have you used Ali Express many times before?

No, never. I've seen them mentioned quite a lot on the American section of this forum and can't recall reading anything negative about them.

Sorry if I've misinterpreted your reply but the link you provided for your extra trim is to Ali Express. If you didn't buy it from them, where did you get it?

I've used Ali Express a few times, mainly to buy knock-off Oakley cycling sunglasses! Had no issues other than some slow deliveries but given it's all coming from China it's to be expected.

I’ve purchased few items from alliexpress, shipping is quick about 1.5 weeks from china. Tempted on the alcantara trims they sell for the dash and armrests.

I dont use my main cards (debit or credit), I signed up for a Monzo account then use that to purchase things from sites I don’t trust 100%. Just a peace of mind for me etc…

All items I’ve purchased all Alliexpress have arrived and promptly.

Ali Express is a marketplace. A bit like eBay, but for new goods. So your customer experience really depends on how good the particular seller is.

Thanks to all who have commented on Ali Express. I've got my eye on a Sofirn LED torch that Ali Ex are doing for well under half the price on Amazon so I'll give them a go.

Just to add my little bit of info to this thread. I have bought plenty of items from Ali Express. As a previous person mentioned, the only negative experience I have from them is sometimes it take a couple of weeks before you can receive your goods. But I have always received them. Have also purchased several small items for my G20 from Ali Express and so far I am content.

I've brought a few items for my M340i off AliExpress including silver trim pieces, bmw door projectors, crystal gear shifter/idrive multimedia cover, gear module storage box, centre console storage tray, crystal volume and start/stop buttons, carbon atyle petrol cap cover and ENET cable to use with bimmercode. All fit/work perfectly and longest I've had to wait is 10 days for an item to arrive. Would definitely recommend people have a look.

Yeah the projectors image is good quality. See image in my previous post. There cheap and very easy to swap over.
