Wireless phone charger
Does anyone know if the wireless phone charger can be switched off? It’s the best place to keep your phone but constantly charging will make it really hot!

You may be able to disable it with coding, there's a setting that you have to enable when retrofitting wireless charging so in theory you could turn it off that way:
Body Domain Controller (BDC_BODY3) -> WcaWirelessChargingAblage-> WCA_ENABLE |

I’ve been placing it at an angle to lift it up a little, just thought it might have an ability to be switched on and off..

As someone else mentioned, you can place the phone face down to prevent it from charging. If you orient it correctly you can still use the digital key with it face down.

As Chrisspencer points out, it can be disabled in settings. It's somwhere under the Car settings (iD7)

Personally, I've always avoided phones that have the ability to charge wirelessly. It tends to overheat your phone which is not good for the batteries longevity, and while wired charging is typically over 90% efficient these days, wireless charging at best is typically around the 70% mark.

I’m also interested, but I did not find any option in ID7 to disable from settings, maybe I miss something 🤔

You can only turn off the notification, not the pad itself.
As others have mentioned, place the phone face down if you want to use the spade without it charging |
