How do you check if you have the active grill and if it’s working? 3 series 2020

I think all G20 models have the active grill don't they? It only opens when the engine needs cooling so the only way to tell would be to get the engine hot enough, park up and have a look. There's a thread here discussing it further - https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1686520

Hi, to check the active grill just put the ac to max cooling and the grill will open, no need to drive around to get car hot.

Oh yes, just tried it! Note that you have to have the engine running for the grill to open.

There is also a lower part of the grill that open and closes. Open is the default position. It shuts when you start the engine.

Thanks for the tips, I’ve found that my grill has a little bit of movement and feels like it’s not properly clipped on one side and because of the active function want to make sure it’s ftted and working properly…
